The Samurai Programme is an easy-to-learn touch and movement training programme specially developed for children in school or in the community.

In a playful way, children learn Shiatsu techniques they can practice on each other, which brings lots of fun but also strengthens team spirit. Through mindful, gentle touch and movement, they sharpen their senses and discover new ways of perceiving themselves and others.
Programme structure: touch and movement activities; self-efficacy/empowerment techniques; exercises; games; small craft activities; and interesting facts about Japanese culture.
Programme goals: preparing children for school readiness; improving self perception and self-efficacy; encouraging slowness and mindfulness; respecting and maintaining boundaries; promoting respectful interaction; improving depth perception and interoception; improving posture and upright body alignment; enhancing concentration and span; strengthening co-operation skills; improving social competence; improving fine motor skills and handwriting; supporting the maturation of the Keiraku.
